Waste of a day :/

So! I've spent the last 4 or 5 hours trying to fix a xbox dvd drive. No success. Pretty disappointed. Now I just have a wasteland of spare parts and wires, it's bad I need to clean my room lol. Not much else to post about, havent been working on music lately which sucks :/ I need to get on that. I leave you with benga.

Well I've been pretty busy so I haven't been posting much. I've had a lot of school work and the like. Attempting to learn music theory and such. Working on a song though :) might have something worth posting in a couple of days so keep an eye out for that! Not much else to say sooo I leave you with some nice [Free :)] chill music.

Pianoo

Been playing a lot of piano lately heres a couple songs I've been working on.

Sia - Breathe Me

(Just started this one today, pretty easy but beautiful and sad.)

Yann Tierson - Comptine D'un Autre Ete

(Been working on this one for a while, amazing song. Great animation too.)

Also I've been working on some chillstep style music just playing around basically really fun, and I've learned a lot. Who knows maybe I'll make a song and post it here. Anyways that's all for now,  thanks for your support you guys :).

M-Audio Axiom 49 Review

So! I just bought a M-Audio Axiom 49 the other day so I guess ill write a small review for it.

I wanted a MIDI controller because I like to make music and I can't stand using piano rolls and stuff like that I need a hardware toy to play around with makes it more realistic and fun. I also wanted a piano that I could learn some music theory and some songs on. So I went to Long & McQuade to try and find something that could suit my needs, everything was waaay too expensive for me until I saw this little gem. $269 second-hand. So I bought it hoping for the best :D
(A pic of what I'm talking about)

This thing is build like a machine. No cheap crappy plastic here, Its got really nice feeling semi-weighted keys and rubber knobs and faders. The keys and pads are velocity sensitive which is really nice to get realistic sounding drums and whatnot. It has a really nice pitch and mod wheels. One thing about it is the interface. Its confusing as hell! and the owners manual is hardly any help. But alas it is an amazing product, completely powered by USB. It came with a free trial of Ableton Live but I already have it :p.

I give it a 9/10

With my only complaint being that its not as noob-friendly as I hoped, but I guess if I took the time to play around with it I could figure out some cool features. Great product for any one looking for a cheapish MIDI keyboard to use that has a lot of features and is very durable.

New.

I'm new to this whole blogging thing, it looked interesting so, well here I am! Well I hope you enjoy! I dont know what I'm going to be posting about really but I hope you like it.
